Art 4 Fun
About This Spot
Stepping into Art 4 Fun, you’re instantly wrapped in a world where creativity gently hums beneath the surface—a welcoming nook that balances the quiet focus of an art studio with the easy warmth of a neighborhood café. The space invites you to slow down, roll up your sleeves, and embrace the messy joy of making something with your own hands. There’s a reassuring, unhurried rhythm here, where the clink of pottery tools mingles harmoniously with soft conversations and the rich aroma of fresh lattes.
Art 4 Fun isn’t just a place to sip coffee or browse art supplies; it’s a subtle invitation to explore your playful side alongside friends, family, or even on a date that quietly tests patience and teamwork. Whether you’re nervously picking your brush for the first time or eagerly revisiting as a seasoned participant, the atmosphere shapes itself around shared stories and bursts of laughter. No rush, no pressure—just the gentle encouragement of a space where creativity is truly for everyone.
The studio’s heart extends beyond its cozy tables and shelves full of paints and tools. It’s a hub for thoughtful celebration and connection, where painting pottery becomes a celebration’s centerpiece or a quiet moment of self-expression. The staff moves seamlessly between helpful guidance and unobtrusive presence, offering just enough direction to keep your creative spirit flowing while making sure you feel right at home.
While you’re nestled here, it’s easy to appreciate the simple pleasures: warm drinks served with care, the comforting possibility of bringing your own treats, and the space to linger long after your piece has been painted. The relaxed policy on food and drink nurtures that feeling of a welcoming living room gathering, encouraging guests to make the experience their own.
More than a studio, Art 4 Fun is a gentle kind of playground for grown-ups and children alike—a space where the joy lies not only in the finished piece but in the human moments between brushstrokes and shared glances. It’s the kind of place that invites you back, not just for the art, but for the stories those creative sessions quietly build.

I just LOVE Art 4 Fun this is such a fun and special place to play with art, creativity, and your tolerance for your friends/significant others. This should be on the relationship test list along with supermarkets, IKEA, and a holiday. I love coming here with friends and crucially, for birthdays, but wow have I learnt a lot about my partners from coming on dates here. Anyway, I digress. You pay a studio fee (circa. £6) and then the price of the item you want to paint (careful! Don’t break anything!) while the lovely assistants talk you through the process. You’re given plenty of information before being left to your own devices to paint. Then, your pieces are fired and you can pick them up around 5-10 days later. I often opt for a pasta bowl - carbs will be there even when the men are gone. Child and booze friendly! Leave the dog at home.

funniest night i had in a while! had a super nice experience at this ceramic painting studio. went for my birthday with friends, brought sushi, and loved that we could drink and eat as we pleased. the staff was amazing—so kind and welcoming. the intro to the studio was quick and efficient, so we could get right to painting. there was loads of space for creativity, and the atmosphere was really relaxing. only downside is that the price of the objects is a bit high, and we had to wait 10 days to get our pieces back. otherwise, 10/10 experience and will definitely return!

This place is amazing! The pricing is really not that bad because you get a lot for what you pay for. You pay for the item, the paints and space, the firing. You can order food to the shop and they supplied us some cups for our own drinks! We were able to stay the whole night as people weren’t booked after us. Staff super helpful and attentive. They will show you all the equipment and paint available (and there’s alot! - so you have lots to have fun with!) Music in the background. It was just a great evening! Had so much fun! Can’t wait to pick up our painted creations when they are ready! (Up to 4 weeks wait for reference). Thank you :)

Had the most amazing time, came with 5 of my friends who had a baby - no problem or stress. Also had some problems with our art work and JENNY fixed it for us with no problem. With the ambiance and spectacular service we owe it all to. JENNY. Such an amazing art place !!!! Kids welcome as well as alcohol ;)

Had a pleasant time here after and we were able to book on the same day without any problem. The deposit was £20 upon booking a table and then I paid an extra £6 (I believe) for the bowl which was quite efficient. Staff give you a thorough verbal guide through the paints available, art styles and techniques that you can use to paint your pieces and the process of getting to the final product before you start, which is quite helpful. Prices of the pieces varied and are quite good considering quality. As I was carrying our projects home, I did bump them into things along the commute, but they still held up. Mine and my friend’s pieces took just a little more than 2 weeks to be ready. Overall very efficient and fun activity to do with friends or a solo thing

Lovely large place to paint pottery! Excellent selection of paint colours and materials to work with. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bear in mind that whilst there is a wide variety of ceramics they are all quite expensive.

It’s such an amazing place to visit. This was my first ever time doing something like this and clearly I was so impressed with myself and how well they organised the shop and staff U can pic anything u want from a plate to a vase, it has an amazing colour palate, a lot of other materials to make your design look even better. Just one thing about it I personally think the prices are way to high for a mug as big as a hand £20 for a mug just a little bigger £28 and I have noticed that a lot of visitors in there came with a budget of £20 when most of the stuff is from £25 to even 40 so if you’re planning on visiting make sure your budget is well planned to have a great time
